Our extensive repair facilities include a pump repair shop, an electric motor rewind shop, a machine shop, and two test pits, totaling over 65,000 sq. ft. We also have a fleet of fully equipped service trucks with cranes to provide efficient service. Our service department operates 24/7 to ensure timely assistance for our customers. Hydra Service is currently under construction with a new Panel and Electrical shop to manufacture control panels and Scada panels for pump stations.

Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Electrical Engineer at Hydra Service, Inc. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for electrical design, electricity analysis, electrical engineering, power distribution, and power systems management. The day-to-day tasks will involve designing electrical systems, analyzing electrical loads, managing power distribution, and ensuring the efficient functioning of power systems. The role requires expertise in electrical engineering principles and practices. The position is located in Warrior, Alabama.
Qualifications
Electrical Design, Electricity, and Power Distribution skills
Expertise in Electrical Engineering and Power Systems
Experience in designing and managing electrical systems
Design and build control panels including PLC
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Troubleshooting and diagnostics
Knowledge of electrical codes and regulations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Experience in the pump and process equipment industry is a plus
